IT Services and Support Consultant Positions

We are looking for full-time Technical Services and Support Consultants located both in Europe and North America to provide onsite and remote technical services to new and existing customers. These individuals will be responsible for facilitating the initial migrations, version upgrades, customizations, training and technical support of our customers.  

The onsite component of the Technical Services Consultant position can require up to 50% travel (at company’s expense).

Technical Services and Support Consultants are also tasked with providing technical support to Asysco’s internal teams as well as taking responsibility for the maintenance of our internal servers, databases and networks, and supporting our third-party hosted websites.

Junior/Mid, Senior Technical Services Consultant

Junior-Mid Level Technical Services Consultants will primarily be responsible for assisting Senior Services Consultants on customer migration projects. The junior and mid-level role involves largely the same types of tasks as the Senior Services Consultant but will have less direct contact with external customers and members of senior management.

Senior Technical Services Consultants are responsible for leading customer migration projects, supervising Junior Technical Services Consultants and for providing regular project status updates to the members of management.

Technical Services Consultants are responsible for the following:
  • Perform the onsite Site Survey process and assist in preparation of Site Survey Report
  • Work with R&D to complete Proof of Concepts
  • Provide onsite support to customers during migration projects including debugging and documenting bugs to be resolved by Customer Support Consultants or R&D.
  • Provide onsite support for software upgrades
  • Provide onsite and offsite support for post migration packages
  • Provide onsite training and technical presentations
  • Prepare and present technical demonstrations at our annual user’s conference
  • Prepare help file content, training materials, project documentation and support manuals

Junior/Mid, Senior Technical Support Consultant

Junior-Mid Level Technical Support Consultants will be primarily responsible for assisting Senior Support Consultants in providing technical support to both internal and external customers.

Senior Technical Support Consultants are responsible for the prioritization and delegation of ongoing customer support cases, as well as internal initiatives required to support the Sales & Marketing team and the Services Consultants. Senior Support Consultants are also responsible for communicating status updates to members of management.

Technical Support Consultants are responsible for the following:
  • Provide technical support to customers using our proprietary product suite
  • Provide technical support to customers using our VB.NET and C# product suite
  • Develop and maintain content and functionality for the company’s internally developed Portal/Knowledge Base
  • Provide network, database and system administration functions including support for the company’s internal hardware, databases and network
  • Provide administrative support for internal systems supported by 3rd party web hosting
  • Maintain documentation for all customer support incidents and internally supported systems

IT Services and Support Consultant Positions (North America)
Senior Technical Services Consultant Position (Europe)

IT Sales Assistant

We are looking for a full time, IT Presales/Inside Sales Consultant to provide lead generation and sales support to the Global Sales Team. This individual will be responsible for facilitating tracking, qualifying and documenting the status of the North American sales pipeline, establishing introductory contact with prospective customers, setting up face to face meetings between prospective customers and members of the external Sales Team and assisting with administration of the SalesForce sales database.

Description and Requirements

Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills and are expected to be organized, professional and punctual.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point and Microsoft Outlook is required.
  • Experience with SalesForce automation and administration is required
  • A 4-year degree in Communications, Sales & Marketing or IT is preferred; other degrees and/or experience may also be acceptable.
  • Candidates will preferably have had experience in supporting the IT sales or services of high value products to large & medium sized organizations and understand the complexity of dealing with large enterprise scale IT projects.
  • Preferred candidates will have some understanding of Legacy Mainframes and Open Systems Technologies from a sales perspective.

This position will report both to the Managing Director of the North American office and to the Group Chief Commercial Officer out of Coevorden, the Netherlands. Occasional travel for periodic sales meetings may be required.
